Here's how you can make it:
Ingredients:
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced into small cubes
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
- Cooking fat of choice (such as coconut oil, ghee, or avocado oil)
How to make Paleo Sweet Potato Hash with Bacon:
1. Prep the Ingredients:
- Peel and dice the sweet potatoes into small cubes.
- Chop the bacon into small pieces.
- Dice the onion and red bell pepper.
- Mince the garlic.
2. Cook the Bacon:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the chopped bacon. Cook the bacon until it's crispy and browned, then remove it from the skillet and set it aside. Leave the bacon grease in the skillet for added flavour.
