How to make the best Stuffed Chicken Casserole Recipe
Hi!! there it's Chef Mluh and I am in the Kitchen again, and bring you another delicious meal to you table. Today we making one of my favourite chicken recipe called Stuffed Chicken Casserole I first saw this dish on Food Network and decided to make my own variation of this dish. The creamy texture and tenderness of this recipe will have you and the family screaming for more.
Ingredients:
- 100 g cream cheese
- 60 ml (1/2 cup) chopped mixed fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, origanum, and feel free to add more)
- 12 baby onions
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 120 g of bacon bits
- 10 chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp crushed garlic
- salt and ground black pepper for taste
- 1 tbsp of cake flour
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 500 ml chicken stock
- 50 ml creme fraiche
How To Make Stuffed Chicken Casserole:
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees celsius/ 176 degrees fahrenheit.
- Combine the cream cheese with herbs, garlic, and your seasoning.
- Loosen the skin on the chicken for each chicken thighs .
- Spread some of the cheese mixture sauce in between the skin and flesh.
- Secure your chicken thighs with some toothpicks.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the chicken thighs till golden brown, then remove and place in an ovenproof casserole.
- Add your baby onions and bacon bits to your fry pan and fry until golden brown, then sprinkle in your cake flour.
- Stir until smooth, then pour in the white wine and chicken stock to your pan and wait till it boils.
- When it reach boiling point take your pan of the stove then pour the over the chicken thighs.
- Cover and Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or till the chicken thighs are well cooked trough.
- Season to taste and stir in the creme fraiche.
- Serve and enjoy with rice or pasta.
