How to make Chilli con carne with nachos recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 crushed garlic
- 2 carrots grated
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 tbsp chilli powder
- 2 tbsp grounded cumin
- 1 tbsp grounded cinnamon
- 500 g beef mince / 500 g ground beef
- 500 g can of red kidney beans, rinsed
- 6 fresh peeled and chopped tomatoes
- 30 ml tomato paste
- 250 ml beef stock
- 100 g nachos chips
- grated mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese whatever scale feel right to you
- salt and grounded black pepper
How to make Chilli con carne with nachos chips recipe:
- Heat olive oil and fry your onion, garlic, carrots until soft. Add the spices an cook for 1 minute max.
- Add the mince and cook, breaking the lumps until browned.
- Add your beans, tomatoes, tomato paste and beef stock simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Season well
- Add coriander but reserve s few springs as garnish.
- Preheat the oven to grill
- Spoon into the serving dish and arrange the nachos on top. Then top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese and brown under the grill. Garnish and serve immediately.
